Meet Caroline McCulloch, designer of FRANKIE4 

FRANKIE4 is the invention of Caroline McCulloch, a qualified podiatrist and physiotherapist from Brisbane.

The inspiration for the brand struck when she needed to recommend footwear that would support her clients’ recovery, but she found limited options. Finding shoes that were comfortable and suitable for recovery that didn’t look like classic orthopaedic shoes was virtually impossible, but, in 2010, Caroline took matters into her own hands.

Caroline carefully designs the sole, footbed and upper of every shoe for maximum comfort and support. Each range boasts modern and classic styles that are both on trend and versatile, and they’ve been extensively tested to make sure the wearer feels confident and comfortable. 

Where Science and Fashion Meet

Being a podiatrist and physiotherapist, designer Caroline understands the way your feet support the rest of your body. She designs her shoes with soles and footbeds that are endlessly wearable, with arch support and forefoot cushioning to alleviate heel and foot pain, plantar fasciitis and forefoot soreness. FRANKIE4 boots and flats have a removable footbed to allow for individual orthotics, and the range of sandals has the footbed built in for a sleek, slimline look.

FRANKIE4 are perfect for hard-to-fit feet. With almost every pair of FRANKIE4 shoes purchased, you’ll also receive their patented Custom Fit Pack to tailor your fit perfectly. The Custom Fit Pack includes extra footbeds and removable cushion inserts to help customise the fit and maximise your comfort.
